Some endings mark very special new beginnings. From now on, it’s official – Sendvaris “Saulė” School is open 🌞
This September, as many as 695 children began the school year at Sendvaris “Saulė” School – 478 pupils and 217 preschoolers. They were welcomed into a highly modern, cozy, and bright environment with excellent outdoor spaces. Next to the building, there are mini football, handball, basketball, volleyball, tennis and mini-tennis courts, outdoor fitness equipment, as well as infrastructure for track and field activities.
The school also features spacious cultural halls and library facilities, as well as enclosed inner courtyards. Moreover, all outdoor sports areas will be open for community use – making this an undeniable new hub for active leisure in the Sendvaris eldership.
The 8,000-square-meter complex was built in just over a year through a public-private partnership (PPP).
